Our Spring Talks are back! They will be held as usual at the Tennis Pavilion, Tattershall Drive. Doors open from 7pm. Talks start at 7.30pm.

Thursday 2nd March – More puzzles past and present

More intriguing ancient and modern puzzles in an interactive whistle stop tour of the 4000 year history of mechanical puzzles from Phillip Burley, the puzzle collector, with audience participation.

Thursday 6th April – Bargain Hunt Roadshow

Jim Spencer, book specialist from Charles Hansons  Auctioneers, has an international reputation for finds in the printed word: rare and antiquarian books, maps, manuscripts and letters. He spots Harry Potter first issues – 10 so far with top price £68,000. He will also set up a mini roadshow during the evening for Park residents and friends who would like to bring along an item to assess.

Thursday 4th May – Nottingham’s Wildlife

City wildlife revealed by Lorna Griffiths, City Nature Recovery Officer at Nottingham Wildlife Trust.
