Spring 2022 sees the welcome return of our talks programme. All talks will be held at the Tennis Pavilion, Tattershall Drive.

Doors will open from 7pm. Talks start at 7.30pm


Puzzles Past and Present – Thursday 3rd March 7.30pm

Phillip Burley gives an interactive whistle-stop tour of the 4000 year history of mainly mechanical puzzles, with audience participation investigating boxes of puzzles, as the talk progresses.


Sinking Venice – Thursday 7th April 7.30pm

Tony Waltham with his outstanding photographs, gives another of his lively talks, this time on the fate of Venice.


Bargain Hunt: behind the scenes and in front of the TV cameras – Thursday 5th May 7.30pm

Charles Hanson and Victoria Sheppard, of Hansons Auctioneers, Derby, will entertain us with stories from the auction/TV world of Bargain Hunt and Antiques Roadshow and then set up a mini roadshow during the evening for Park residents and friends who would like to bring along an item for Charles to assess. 


All are welcome and please bring your friends. The charge for each individual talk is £3 for NPRA members, £4 for non members.
