Social Events for 2022

We would also like to welcome you to a new year of social activity, until we hear otherwise. Our intention is to give you as much information as we can now and keep you updated throughout the year as it all changes, but at least it gives your diaries a fighting chance.

Our regular social events for 2022:

Second Sunday Socials on the Circus

An opportunity to meet your neighbours over a coffee or more (currently Doh Pizza and Memsaab’s curries). Starting up again in March – weather permitting – on the 13th. All at the usual time 12 noon until 3pm

History talks

Usually with a Nottingham or Park theme, these entertaining talks offer an insight in to our city and some of its most interesting people. Dates for the Spring and Autumn talks are:

Thursday 3rd March – Puzzles Past & Present

Thursday 7th April – Sinking Venice

Thursday 5th May – Bargain Hunt: behind the scenes and in front of the TV cameras

October, November and December dates to be arranged.

You can find out more about the spring talks here.

Boules Dans le Park

Saturday, July 16th
16 years of unbroken sunshine.

Safari Dinner

Saturday, September 17th.
The highlight of our social calendar. An event which lets you meet new people and enjoy the hospitality of Park residents, either as a host or a guest.

Christmas Carols

Sunday, December 11th.
Complete with Brass Band and Santa when he can fit us in.

Plus, due to popular demand:

The return of the NPRA AGM. No one asked but we really should. We’re making it a daytime affair this time at the May Second Sunday Social. (May 8th at High Noon)

And of course the ultimate Royal Street Party honouring the Queen’s Platinum Jamboree / Jubilee. We’ve picked Saturday, June 4th.
