This year’s Umpteenth Annual Boules Dans Le Park Competition is moving from Saturday July 16th (post Bastille) to Saturday July 9th (pre Bastille) – because all of the organisers are away on the 16th and the 16th will also be very wet. As you know, it’s never rained at the Boules Competition so this is a good thing.
As usual, proceedings will kick off at 1pm sharp in Newcastle Circus. Entry fee is £8.50 per team of 2 or 3 players. Phone Steve or Gill on 0115 9470041 to book your place or chance it on the day if that’s how you operate.
There will be prizes for winners and runner uppers, tba. And that’s all there is to it. (We have a selection of boules if you don’t possess a set and have always been too embarrassed to turn up without).
