Spring Talk – Bats in Nottinghamshire

February 6 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? It’s a bat! Ever wondered about the Secret Life of Bats, especially those that fly around your garden at night? The United Kingdom is home to 17 species of bats and Nottinghamshire has 12 species of them. These unique and wonderful animals make up about a third of all mammals worldwide but are still very misunderstood. Join us for a talk to learn a bit more about bats, the species in Notts, how and where to find them, and what we can do to help them. A very special guest will also make an appearance, so come to the talk on the 6th of February to meet Layla the bat in person! Natasja Groenink is a researcher investigating Bats Recovery and Conservation.

Doors/bar open from 7pm

All are welcome and please bring your friends. The charge for the individual talks is £3 for NPRA members, £4 for non members
