Autumn Talk – Ensuring Nottingham Park Retains Gas Lighting  

November 1 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm

A history of gaslight over 200 years and the uniqueness of the Park network is covered by Brian Harper, a trained scientist, engineer, technician, craftsman and entrepreneur specialising in Electro Optics, Imaging and Lighting, with a long history of innovative product and procedure development. Dark skies and light pollution are explained. Cost and carbon footprint barriers and the LED threat are tackled. Solutions for the Park in the 14 lantern trial and the future based on that trial will be demonstrated – bring your sun glasses!

Doors open 7pm. All are welcome, and please bring your friends. The charge for the individual talks is £3 for NPRA members, £4 for non members. Please reserve your place in advance if possible.
